Health Care for The Uninsured

Now in these times with so many people unemployed, How can we expect ourselves to receive decent medical health care when Medical costs are steadily rising and in the economy. In a world where even a simple visit to a doctors office and a short appointment for lets say twenty minutes, one is required to fill out every drop of their information including social security numbers, a drivers license and a billing address of course. After having filling out loads of informations down to medical symptoms and past events irrelevant to the doctors visit, one is made to wait thirty minutes in the lobby, then another twenty in the patient room. When the doctor finally decides to grace you with their presence all you get is a simple explanation of the symptoms that you already knew about and had looked up on the internet just before coming to the doctors office. Sometimes they wont even prescribe you any medicine and just send you on your way as soon as possible. Now having filled out the mountains of paperwork required and payed the copayment also they are saving themselves as much as possible from any possible lawsuit at any angle imaginable.
An example is an ear nose and throat doctor, during the doctor visit, one is told all about sinex, throat sprays, lozenges, and even benadryl. Was this anything new known to the sick person? Of course not! Everyone know all about any one of these things. Don't have to be a doctor to watch tv or look something up online. Advertisements and commercials have ingrained products like these into our mind. So whenever this sick person came to the doctor they expected to receive new knowledge and information not a recap of what they already knew. No one has to be a doctor to talk about these things. Any mom who has taken care of her children will know as much as a nurse about taking care of a sick person or watching over someone. Now as hard as it is for even a normal person with a job to get into this medical office and talk with a doctor. Think about how hard it is for a young adult especially a teenager to receive this health care.
A teen without parents or guardians is like a poor person. They don't know about jobs or health insurance. What happens when they need hospital care for any number of illnesses now in America? When they need morphine, antibiotics, and professional help the teenager will have a tough time filling out all the necessary information needed and then have to wait until the next year when a spot is finally available. Appointments having to be booked several convienent months in advance if you desire a certain time or day. Since all clinics and healthcare facilities are so occupied with tons of people.
Does it also seem right that these clinic have time periods open during the dayonly to them of course and not the client at all who have to wait until 8 to 11:30 the next day and then 12:30 to 3 pm these hours are hard to take off work for let alone make an appointment for. Not even having someone to answer the phone to people healthcare needs and even emergencies. Then saying an appointment is not available with the doctor until next year and Jan with the nurse and not till Feb with the doctor. To ever get to see these doctors at all is a puzzle in itself. Have they become royalty now with so many Americans seeking medical care. Now anything coming from the doctors mouth is automatically assumed as legitimate just because they came from blah university and obtained this degree which took 15 years. Exaggerated, doctors cannot possibly know exactly what illness the client has no matter how many years spent in study at whatever university it was. No matter how booksmart they may be.
So many new illnesses are developing with people and spreading to different countries by traveling people. One can never know what's up or be to sure to take whichever shots needed.
Teenagers are faced with a dilemma to go to the doctor and receive care then spend mountains of money on it afterwards for so many months or not go and see if the problem will take care of itself
