ACU
I am loving this school! The people here are very kind and great influences. The way everyone is so focused on God and their studies is a plus. The christian aspect is what draws me in. Chapel everyday is definitely a good way to focus thought on God. Whether its singing or hearing a speaker or going to Women in Business it counts as chapel and thats a good thing. The only thing I'm nervous about is my tests coming up since I'm not sure how that will go. I have been studying really hard and trying to keep in all the information for my Business class and Astronomy but still nervous. Hopefully the test won't be as hard as the upper class students have said or so only two have said that it was the "hardest test they ever took in their lives". Which leaves me to wonder how much they had actually studied for it and whether or not vocabulary words will be on their or more so details from the text. Very confusing trying to study every little detail and memorize words when I don't even know what will be on the test. We are only required to read the chapters now and were on chapter three. I have read, diagnosed and taken notes on those three chapters. Still so much information is packed into them and not only for that class but also my Astronomy class. Confusing things about the earths rotation and stars names but hopefully the quiz wont be as hard as I'm imagining it. All the hype about these hard tests is what's more bad than the actual test I'm guessing.

Young Romance
Why is it that so many fall in love at the wrong moment in life? The moment when least expected and then it turns out to be the most exciting thing you've ever experienced. When they say you fall in love they truly mean fall. Who decides they want to become crazily obsessed with another person. Who goes to sleep at night thinking I can't wait to fall madly into a roller coaster of emotions? Yes, it is true so many people long for love and with it someone to care them. The only sad part is when it spirals out of control and either of the two people end up getting hurt. It does not have to be this way at all. There are still multitudes of people who believe in chivalry. But in this modern time love has been reduced. Young women get deeply involved in a mans life persuading themselves it is real love. The kind always shown in the movie theaters the kind dreamed about since "The little Mermaid" came out and "Sleeping Beauty". The kind of love where the couple go off into the sunset happily ever after. Without any problems or any drama whatsoever. Then love advances into a deeper mindset when reading "Romeo and Juliet", where the love becomes so great that both commit suicide at the sight of each others dead bodies. It makes one wonder what modern day love looks like. Would Romeo and Juliet be the same if they had grown up in New York and hadn't been taught the traditional values chivalry? Becoming another number in the divorce rate?
Young adults have a tough time in looking for their life partner if even at all they decide to look. Is marriage still considered a sacred event at all or merely another social event founded by a good cause? In America is it possible that society has devalued marriage to the point of no return since the sexual revolution? Is it only christian now who believe in the cause?

College Students and Underage Drinking
Teens in this time are often faced with peer pressure to start habits/addictions such as drinking. What can be as simple as a little drink at a party can turn into a life altering addiction and a night to regret. Anything can happen when your mind is intoxicated and one will not know until the next day. Deciding not to make the right choice is something all young people need to learn and with these good decisions come responsibility.
A young person can make a wrong choice and have it affect them for the rest of their lives. Underage drinking can lead to a criminal record and even criminal activity. When eighteen year olds in the U.S. go to jail they are now considered adults by law and no more juvenile mercy for them! No one will have pity on a teen who makes an illegal decision because many can be killed at the hand of a drunk driver.
